Music For Marriage

The Fouray String Quartet specialise in providing high quality music for your wedding day. We are available to provide a variety of music for any part of your wedding celebrations and aim to satisfy your individual requirements.

Music will create a wonderful atmosphere at your wedding. The addition of music during the ceremony, drinks reception and photographs and the wedding breakfast or a combination of all three will make your day extra special.

If you already know what you would like playing during the day, please let us know and if we don't already have an arrangement we will do our best to find one or arrange it ourselves. However if you are unsure as to your choice of repertoire below are a few ideas.

The Ceremony

We provide music during the arrival of your guests, then for the arrival of the bride and her walk down the aisle. During the ceremony, we can play during the signing of the register and communion if applicable. Finally, we will provide music for the recessional.

The Reception

During the drinks reception and wedding breakfast we generally play a mixture of classical, jazz and popular music to entertain yourselves and your guests, which we hope will include something for everyone - see our repertoire list for examples. Please note that this is by no means exhaustive and if you would like something played which is not on the list please ask and we can probably find it or arrange it ourselves.
